Abstract
In the book entitled Pedagogy of common action (2021) by the pedagogue, teacher professor and Spanish writer Josep Puig, fundamental aspects of the socio-pedagogical field are identified: personal development, citizen training, social inequality, knowledge mercantileism, humanism, individualism, pathologies social, culture, cooperation, democratic community, reciprocity, social freedom, power relations, common action, among others. The author addresses these topics from a sociological, historical, anthropological, psychopedagogical and political perspective, adhering to a cultural perspective to understand feasible responses to issues such as: How has market competitiveness affected the educational field? generate a first solidarity approach to the subject? What is the social role of education? And what strategies should the school adopt to build citizenship?
